If you want an alternative to Box hedging for use in knot gardens and edging borders this is it.

It can also be trimmed into topiary shapes with balls being the most common.

Purple Storm is a small leaved evergreen hedge with dense foliage.  It is a fast-growing plant and requires regular trimming to help it maintain its shape.  It is capable of being kept around 60 cm tall to make a low instant hedge. Lonicera nit. Purple Storm will make a height of 90cm in 3 - 5 years and if left untrimmed will get to about 60cm wide.  It is recommended that to get the best out of Shrubby Honeysuckle Hedging it is trimmed with a taper at all heights.

Lonicera nit. Purple Storm is easy to prune and shape, hardy and not susceptible to pest or diseases. It will grow in any type of soil in full sun or shade.
